In an astonishing turn of events reported by the Beijing News, eager customers attempting to place their orders at exactly 18:08 were met with an intriguing experience. Upon clicking the order button, a progress bar materialized on their screens, indicating their position in a virtual queue.
However, the excitement was short-lived as, within mere seconds, the queue progress bar reached its conclusion, revealing that the coveted devices had once again sold out in the blink of an eye.
Since 18:08 on September 3, Huawei’s Mate 60 series has repeatedly gone on sale, and each time, it’s practically sold out within seconds. In cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, Huawei stores have even seen lines forming, underscoring the immense popularity of these new devices among consumers.
Surprisingly, Huawei unveiled its newest flagship phone, the Mate 60 Pro, on August 29, directly on the Huawei Mall. What made this launch even more surprising was that it offered the 12+512GB version at a price of 6,999 yuan. WhatsApp: Adds New Feature to Let Community Admins Control Membership

WhatsApp is rolling out an exciting new feature in its Android version 2.23.18.20, specifically designed to enhance the control and management of WhatsApp communities. With this addition, community administrators now have the ability to determine who has the privilege of adding new members to their community.
The default setting for this feature is set to empower community administrators exclusively, granting them the unique authority to directly add new members. In other words, when you create a WhatsApp community or are designated as an admin, you automatically gain the capability to invite and include individuals within the group. This measure is intended to ensure that community management remains in the hands of trusted leaders, who can carefully curate the membership and maintain the group’s purpose and quality.
This update provides a more streamlined and efficient approach to managing WhatsApp communities, allowing administrators to tailor the experience to suit the specific needs and goals of their groups. Whether it’s a professional network, a hobbyist club, or any other type of community, this new feature puts the power of membership control firmly in the hands of those responsible for its well-being, offering a more personalized and secure experience for all members involved.
This new feature is a big improvement for community admins. It gives them more say and flexibility in how their groups work. Think of it as an extra level of control where community admins can decide who gets to add new members directly.
Here’s the key point: Anyone can still add members to the community if they have a special invite link created by the community admin. What’s new is that this option lets community admins choose who can manually add new members without needing that special invite link. It’s all about giving admins more control over how people join their communities.
