Serena Williams announces retirement, will play the last match at US Open
Legendary tennis player Serena Williams has announced retirement. Serena said on Tuesday that she is withdrawing from tennis and plans to quit her tennis career after the US Open, which begins later this month. After a year-long absence from the court, she returned to the singles event at the Wimbledon Championships in June.
Stayed away from court for a year-
Serena, 40, played only her second singles match on Monday after making a comeback. That match was at the Toronto Open where Serena defeated Nuria Parijas Diaz of Spain to make it to the second round. Serena, 40, said in a column written for Vogue after that match that she was standing at the last turning point in her tennis career.
American tennis star Serena said I have never liked the word retirement. It doesn’t sound like a trendy term to me. I see this as a transition, but I want to be sensitive about it how to use that word. Perhaps the best word for describing what I am going to do is development.’
Serna said, ‘I am here to tell you that I am moving away from tennis to other things that are important to me. A few years back, I quietly started the Serena Ventures firm. Soon after that, I settled with my family. I want to develop that family’
Serena Williams later said in an Instagram post, ‘Things are always tough when you love something so much. I have been enjoying tennis, but now the countdown has started. I have to focus on being a mother, my spiritual goals as well as my quest for a different but exciting Serena. I am going to enjoy it for the next few weeks.
Serena Williams won her last Grand Slam in 2017. Serena has won 23 singles Grand Slam titles so far and she is one Grand Slam away from equaling Margaret Court’s record. She missed the feat despite reaching the finals four times since giving birth to daughter Olympia in 2017.

NEET Result 2022: result will come by September 7, these details will be available on the scorecard
The wait for the release of NEET UG Result 2022 is going to end soon. National Testing Agency (NTA) is soon going to release the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2022 for admission to undergraduate courses. Candidates were given an opportunity to raise objections on the provisional answer key of NEET UG till September 2, NTA will release the NEET result after clearing the objections received.
The Agency (NTA) had said that the UG Medical Entrance Exam i.e. New UG Result will be declared by 7 September 2022. Once the result is released, candidates will be able to check and download their scorecard (NEET UG Scorecard) by visiting the official website neet.Nta.nic.in. Along with the NEET result, the final answer key will also be released on the official website.

After the release of NEET UG Result 2022, candidates should check their name, roll number, marks obtained in individual subjects, total marks, percentile score, All India Rank (AIR), and other details on the scorecard.
This time more than 18 lakh candidates had registered for NEET UG 2022. Of these, 95 percent of candidates appeared for the exam on July 17, 2022. The candidates who qualify in this entrance exam will be admitted to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc and AH, and BSc Nursing seats. NEET UG Cut-Off Marks and Percentile-
Along with the NEET UG results, NTA will also release the category wise cut-off marks and percentile (NEET UG Cut-Off Marks and percentiles). Those who obtain marks equal to or more than the cut-off score for their category will be able to apply for admission to medical courses through All India Quota and State Quota counseling.
