Rumors of Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio‘s romance have been circulating for the past week. The couple was recently photographed having an intimate conversation at a New York Fashion Week party, and reports suggest they are getting to know each other. Mohamed Hadid, the model’s father, has now addressed his daughter’s dating rumors.

Gigi’s father revealed his thoughts on the Oscar-winning actor and recalled meeting him previously in an interview with The Daily Mail. He stated, “Mr. DiCaprio is a very nice man whom I met in St. Tropez four or five years ago. He appealed to me.” In response to his daughter’s current dating rumors with the actor, Mohamed stated, “They are friends – they have known each other for some time. I have not spoken to my daughter about Mr. DiCaprio. I don’t think they are dating – I believe they are just good friends. But I really don’t know.”

The model’s father also stated that he does not comment on Gigi’s personal relationships and has no say over who she dates. While Mohamed has not confirmed Gigi and Leonardo’s relationship, fans are relieved to learn that DiCaprio already has a close relationship with Hadid’s family.

Leonardo is known for keeping his relationships very private and has never commented on his dating life. The actor recently ended his four-year relationship with model Camila Morrone. The former couple made their relationship public after being spotted together at the Oscars 2020.
